Meet Dr. Robert Penterson
Dr. Robert Penterson - (Retired)
Dr. Robert Penterson grew up in White Plains, New York, and went to Lehigh for his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering. From there, he moved to Northern Virginia to get his master’s in business from George Mason University. He met his wife Cathy while working as an engineer at PEPCO. He decided to make a career change and pursue dentistry at VCU School of Dentistry.
He and Cathy fell in love with the Richmond area, which lead him to open the practice in Midlothian in 1981. Since then, Dr. Penterson has formed many connections within the community and established great bonds with his patients. He retired in 2018; however, he had come out of retirement to help care for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. As of 2022, Dr. Penterson if officially enjoying his retirement.
Dr. Penterson has many hobbies and interests, including sailing, tennis, and woodworking. He and Cathy also love cooking, traveling, and spending time with their grandchildren.
