From the beginning, Dr. Penterson was very supportive and a great mentor to me. When Lynn joined us in 2007, she provided an extremely compassionate personality and excellent dental abilities that strengthened our practice philosophy. Over the last few years, we have added Dr. Lacey, Dr. Morgan, and Dr. Gray. Not only have they brought accomplished clinical skills, they have brought kind and caring personalities that match our practice beliefs. Dr. Steve Booth was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and raised in Williamsburg. He received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the College of William and Mary, where he also played collegiate baseball. Following graduation, Dr. Booth attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he graduated magna cum laude.

While in dental school, he earned other academic honors, including four consecutive years on the Dean’s List, a Commonwealth Scholarship based on academic merit, appointment to the Honor Council for four years, appointment as co-chair for the New Dentist Committee, appointment as a student instructor, and placement on the student admissions committee.

Dr. Booth joined Dr. Penterson in 2005 which began the development of the Penterson and Booth practice we have today. Presently, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Richmond Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

In his spare time, Dr. Booth enjoys sports, outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
